Community Meeting @ Millbrook High Spring 2026

Urban Sustainability Solutions recently connected with students and families at a community event hosted at Millbrook Magnet High School, continuing our ongoing partnership with educators who have participated in our teacher stormwater training and afterschool programs in previous years.

Our primary goal was to register students for ourSpring 2026 Afterschool Apprenticeship Program while engaging parents and guardians in conversations about the real-world career opportunities available in stormwater management, green infrastructure, and environmental sustainability.

Students and families also took part in an interactive role-playing game, where participants stepped into the roles of municipalities, nonprofits, and the education system. The activity highlighted how collaboration across sectors can create healthier local environments while strengthening community connections across generations.

We’re grateful to our Millbrook teachers, students, and families who made this event engaging and impactful, and we look forward to welcoming new apprentices this spring!
