August Teacher Workshop

Our August teacher workshop has come and gone, and we’re happy to say it was a success! Urban Sustainability Solutions would like to thank the North Carolina School of Science and Math for hosting the workshop in its campus library. Thank you to Len Curington from Southern High School, Rachel Owens from Northern High School and Mitch Woodward from NC State Cooperative Extension Service whom helped train our participating teachers. And of course, thank you to the wonderful teachers from Millbrook High School that participated in our first workshop. It was great getting to know some of our local educators. We look forward to working with all the participating teachers in the future for a student workshop.
