USS named a recipient of the 2025 Dare to Be Green Award

We are thrilled to announce that Urban Sustainability Solutions was awarded the 2025 Dare to Be Green Award by the City of Raleigh Environmental Advisory Board!

The Dare to Be Green Award recognizes initiatives demonstrating innovative approaches to environmental stewardship. The winners of this award are individuals or groups that have taken bold risks, broken down siloes, and fostered collaboration as they champion new initiatives that have a positive environmental impact.

We at USS are incredibly grateful for this recognition and proud to stand alongside other sustainability leaders in the Raleigh community. This award fuels our passion for continuing to develop innovative solutions that promote environmental resilience and sustainability in Raleigh and beyond.

The award was presented at the Environmental Awards Ceremony on Friday, April 25, as part of the City of Raleigh’s annual Earth and Arbor Day celebration at Dix Park. We loved getting to celebrate this milestone with community members and share more about our ongoing efforts to drive sustainable change.
